Once you survive your first night and establish a starter base camp, transition immediately to the Iron Tier. Mine raw iron ore blocks inside surface caves or mountain fissures between Y-levels 16 and 32. Smelt raw iron in your furnace to craft an Iron Pickaxe, Iron Sword, Shield, and Full Iron Armor Set (requires 24 iron ingots).
Wearing full iron armor grants 15 armor points (60% damage reduction), protecting you against surprise Creeper explosions and Skeleton arrow bursts while exploring deep underground cavern networks.
2. Phase 2: Diamond Mining at Y = -58 & Deepslate Layers
Following modern Bedrock world generation rules, Diamond Ore spawns most abundantly at deep underground layers between Y = -50 and Y = -58. At these depths, cobblestone transitions into tough Deepslate rock blocks.
Utilize branch mining techniques (strip mining 2-block high tunnels spaced 2 blocks apart) or explore massive underground aquifers while carrying water buckets to convert dangerous lava lakes into solid Obsidian blocks.
3. Phase 3: Nether Portal Assembly & Fortress Invasions
Harvest at least 10 Obsidian blocks using a Diamond Pickaxe. Erect a 4x5 vertical obsidian frame and ignite the bottom interior block with a Flint and Steel to open a portal to the Nether dimension.
Inside the Nether, navigate carefully across lava seas to locate a Nether Fortress. Defeat Blaze mobs to collect Blaze Rods and gather Nether Wart crops to establish potion brewing operations.
4. Phase 4: Enchanting Mechanics & Netherite Gear
Construct an Enchanting Table surrounded by 15 Bookshelves to unlock Level 30 enchantment options. Utilize Lapis Lazuli and experience points earned from mining and mob hunting to apply high-tier enchantments:

To upgrade diamond gear into fire-resistant Netherite, mine Ancient Debris in the Nether at Y=15, smelt it into Netherite Scraps, combine with Gold Ingots to forge Netherite Ingots, and apply them using a Smithing Table along with Netherite Upgrade Smithing Templates.
5. Phase 5: Defeating the Ender Dragon
Combine Blaze Powder with Ender Pearls (dropped by Endermen) to craft 12 Eyes of Ender. Throw Eyes of Ender into the air to locate a Stronghold. Place Eyes of Ender into the End Portal frame, defeat the Ender Dragon in the End dimension, and harvest the Elytra wings from End City ships for infinite powered flight.
